Today we are ecstatic to announce the Deluxe Edition for Miserable's incredible 2014 EP, Halloween Dream – out Sept. 4th. In addition to the four original songs, the Deluxe Edition will features demo versions of every song, and the unreleased "Palmistry Notes". Although the Deluxe Edition will only be available digitally, the five bonus songs will be pressed on a limited edition "Demos" cassette tape.
To celebrate, Noisey premiered the music video for Miserable's "Orchid". On the song they said:
"It's beautiful, evocative music, an opiate hum anchored by Esfandiari's throaty howl and a woozy, hypnotic feel. Her musical output serves as therapy as she works through a poisonous upbringing, which adds a certain layer of desperation and urgency to the work itself; in the crassest terms, her pain is our gain."

Along with the original four songs, the Deluxe Edition of Halloween Dream includes demo versions of each song, recorded at home during the writing process, as well as “Palmistry Notes” – an unreleased song written during the Halloween Dream sessions. Substream premiered "Never", the first single from Threading's upcoming EP, You Are Never Enough. On the song, they said:
"It channels recently in vogue space-rock touchstones such as Failure and Hum but could easily sit in between Codeine’s Frigid Stars and Seam’s The Pace Is Glacial and not feel out of place. Today, we’re debuting one of the EP’s standout tracks, the thick, syrupy 'Never.'"
More info:
Threading are a shoegaze band through and through. Despite their very obvious nods to slowcore pioneers Codeine and Bedhead, Threading's major influence can be traced back to the ethereal and dreamy beginnings of shoegaze. Formed only last year in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Threading have already released two EPs, a split 7” with Unconditional Arms, and have shared the stage with the likes of Nothing, Pity Sex, Touché Amoré, and Pianos Become the Teeth, all in a relatively short period of time.
This Fall will see the release of You Are Never Enough, their third EP. By far their strongest offering yet, the five song collection brings together the heavy and forthright aspects of their Azure EP, with the hazily ambient vocals of their Willing In Woe EP. You Are Never Enough will be released on September 18th via The Native Sound, on limited edition cassette tapes and digital download.
